The 60-minute group training sessions at Orangetheory are the perfect combination of cardiovascular and strength training, using well-maintained, top-of-the-line equipment to complete multiple intervals of treadmill training, indoor rowing, floor exercises, weight training blocks, and TRX suspension training.

During your group gym session, you'll wear a heart-rate monitor to track your session efficiency to help ensure you are getting the best workout possible. The heart rate monitor wirelessly displays your stats around the studio on video screens for you and your trainer to see. Our sessions have been designed to keep your heart rate at 84% or more of your maximum heart rate which is equal to zones 4/5 for a minimum of 20 minutes of your workout. When you are able to do this, you stimulate your metabolism and increase your energy. This results in what we refer to as the Orange Effect, or extra energy and calories burned long after your workout is complete.

John was born and raised in the Houston area.
He is a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM and joined the fitness industry about 2 years ago after spending several years in radio.
John has always had a passion in helping people reach their personal fitness goals and decided to make it his career. “It has been one of the best decisions of my life!”
He is currently the head trainer at our Town and Country location. “Team work makes a dream work”
Brenda is certified through AFAA Personal Trainer, AFAA Group Training, AFAA Group Exercise, Turbo Kick Box, PiYo, Stotts Pilates, Les Mills Body Pump, and Trigger Point Therapy. Brenda has been in the fitness industry since 1988. She is passionate about seeing the members reach their fitness goals. Brenda is Houston's Regional Coach.
Brock was born and raised in Iowa and made the move to Houston 2 years ago. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Sports and Recreation Management. Brock has been certified through ACE since 2012 with studies in Sports and Conditioning specialty. Brock likes to stay active with Orangetheory Fitness and Crossfit.

Backed by the science of post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), our heart-rate monitored training is designed to keep heart rates in a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Our clients burn an estimated 500 to 1000 calories per workout. We are 5 zone heart-rate interval training.







Working out in a group provides accountability and structure to help achieve fitness goals. You are more likely to get a great workout and better results from the well-rounded movements and pace direction you get in a group setting. The session motivates each other to pick up the pace and reach beyond plateaus. People who workout in groups stick to their goals more consistently than those that workout alone.
